I have come across these sabres and consider to procure them for my collection,
but I do not have reference books covering these. Can anyone help me to
identify type (cavalry, infantry etc), model and origin?

This sabre is made for Romania under the rule of Mihai I (Michael I.).
Michael I. was king of Romania 1927-1930 and again 1940-1947.
