What do you think about the origin of this one? The hilt looks more Saxonian, but the blade is definitely Prussian.

But for such composite one would need two rare swords from the same period.

As you can see, (possibly) saxon guard and prussian blade do not fit together exactly (Pictures 1 and 5). You can see two gaps. The rivet looks as if it was made just a few months ago.
Both parts seem to be original, but they do not belong together, I suppose.

I wonder who has a stock of rare blades and guards and why he make such combinations. Definitely not for the profit - price wasn't too high.
The same seller had another interesting sword. The blade seems to be Prussian, with stamp FW 47. But I have never heard about this type of hilt in the Prussian army

That sword was also made by S&K and had Abnahmestempel "G unter Krone".
I will take closer look at this one.
