Hello Collector friends,
I wonder what you can tell me about the bayonet on the pictures. I wonder if it is of German origin? What is the model year in that case and where can I learn more about this weapon?
I just bought it and the pictures are from the seller and not the best in quality but I hope someone can identify the bayonet anyway.
The rifle were in the "deal" and it seems to be a civilian rifle based upon military parts (barrel, ramrod, lock etc)Octagonal barrel about 15-16 mm rifled.
Best regards/Daggpil Schweden
ps, Reply in German is fine if you like.

Hej dagpil -
in my opinion it looks very similar to the Schlesvig-Holstein m/1848 Hirschfanger Bayonet for the modified Jaeger rifle m1807.

Hello Thomas,
So that means that the bayonet is a Prussian m/1810 ?
I dont see any Danish markings on it and therefore its not the Danish m/1848, correct?
Are these bayonets unusual or common?
Best regards/Ulrik
