Hello,

is it possible to translate these markings on a Blücher sable?

Kind regards
Henry

Hello Henry,

it isn't an Blüchersäbel. The mark isn't German, I think.

regards,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

what pussles me is the AK.M-marking - the AA-marking is probably "1. Artilleri Afdeling nr. 241", and it is a normal danish marking - but the AK.M-marking is the newest marking, and it has not been decoded - so if it is a german marking, then the AA-marking could not be a danish one - so that is the reason for my asking for help.

Kind regards
Henry

The problem is: characters and ciphers in this mark have the same size.

Following german contemporary military reglements, there has to be a difference in size between characters and ciphers. But war-time markings differ.

It's very difficult to judge...

Best
