I haven't seen this sword before and would miss it. Thanks Mario, who gave a link to the discussion about experimental swords M1848 and M1847.
I knew about M1850 trial sword, which was rejected and sold to England; but, apparently, more trial swords existed around 1850.
This sword is a full copy of French M1822, including the blade length (between 90.5 and 91 cm).
