Officer Pallasch M 1772 for the Danish life regiment:

Degen für Offiziere der Leibgarde zu Pferd M 1772

Länge ca. 104 cm, getragen bis zur Auflösung der Garde 1886. Wohl auch mit gravierter Klinge (Staatswappen, Krone, Ornamente) und silbernem/versilbertem Gefäß. Belederte Griffhilze mit verdrillter Drahtwicklung. Die zugehörige Scheide aus schwarzem Leder mit Beschlägen, Metall wie Gefäß.

What is interesting about the Pallasch marked L.R.R is, that it is marked for Cuirassier and not Dragon.
As Carsten correctly points out, the Pallasch is refered to as Dragon Pallasch.

That's not unusual, there are known several "Dragonpallask M 1785" with marks from the "Livregiment", e.g.:

L.R.R. D.No.146. = Livregiment Ryttere, 4. Eskadron, Nr. 146

marked at the same place as the one you showed, but all with eskadron- and weapon-no. too.

The L.R.R.-mark also had been found on:

- Rytterpallask M 1828

and

- Flintelåspistol M1772/98
- Flintelåspistol M 1806
- Rytter- (Husar-)karabin M 1795
- Riflet Flintelås- (Dragon-)karabin M 1798 (this one - tøyhusmuseet - only with: "L.R.R. D.")

Interesting because the Pallasch is called Dragon Pallasch but used by Cuirassier's and not Dragon's.

It is not unusual but it is interesting ;)
