Hello everyone,
I would like to ask for your help with identifying this blade.
The manufacturer's trademark is Weyersberg & Stamm, Solingen.
Details:
Blade length: 70.8 cm
Stag horn grip
Brass guard
Etched blade on both sides
One side shows a steam locomotive with passenger coaches
The other side shows a winged railway wheel together with ornamental etching. After some research I found information about German Eisenbahnerdegen (railway swords), but I have not been able to find another example with these exact blade etchings. Could this be a railway presentation sword or a ceremonial weapon for a railway official, or is it something completely different? Any information about the model, period, intended use, or similar examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time and expertise.
Regards
Tomas

Hallo Tomas, sieht mir sehr verspielt aus.Ob es solche kurzen Stücke gegeben hat ist schon möglich aber meiner Meinung nach, nicht mit so einem Gefäß.
Gruß Mario
