Recently got two of these.

One has the blade from m/1829 cavalry sword, dated 1862. Could
it be a prototype for m/1867 sword or this is just an old composite
from original parts? The date on m/1829 blade is unusually late,
in 1860th Saxonia must be looking for a new models, because all
neighboring countries already adopted new cavalry swords.

Another one has regular blade. What is interesting - both sword and scabbard are marked just G.R., without numbers.
