Hallo,

(Für Sie Deutsche leute, entschuldigen sie mein Deutsch, ich habe es nicht für 30 Jahre benutzt).
Ich habe diesen Pallasch gekauft, und ich denke das es eine Bayrische oder Württembergische Waffe ist. Das Schrift an die Klinge zeigt das es zwischen 1711-1736 gemacht ist.

Bitte, möchte sie mit weitere information für identifizieren helfe?

I found this sword at the local antique fair today. The seller told it was a "German or Austrian Sword probably from 1750".
I think it may be a Bavarian or Wurtemberg Heavy cavalry from looking at the illustrations on pp. 191 and 212 in Richard H Bezdek's «German Swords and Sword Makers». I would appreciate some help with identifying the sword more exact and I have included pictures to assist.
There is text on both sides of the blade "Vivat Carlu VI" and "Vivat Printz Eugenius". This indicates that it was made within Emperor Charles VI reign between 1711 and 1740, and before 1736, which was when Prinz Eugen died. The name of Prince Eugene could indicate that the sword was used in a cavalry regiment With his name, but so far I have only managed to find Austrian regiments with this name. Could the sword be Austrian?

The blade is 88 cm long and it is 38 mm wide at the base. The point is double-edged for a length of 22 cm. The overall length of the weapon is 101 cm.

@corrado26: Thanks a lot, it looks like a quite similar pallasch. I would guess that they are the same model but from different manufacturers and furbishers.
